Faelan’s life was transformed by yoga and meditation when she met her teacher in 2002.  As with everything Faelan does, she jumped in full force and ran away with the Yogis.  She is a certified Hatha Yoga and Meditation Instructor through the Yogic Medicine Institute.

One of her favorite aspects to focus on in her yoga classes is the ability to deeply relax while working hard.  She believes that if people were able to stay relaxed in their bodies and breath while dealing with work and stress that sanity and kindness would spread like wildfire.

In her opinion, belly dance and yoga are a uniquely beneficial combination, as both train one to isolate individual muscles and muscle groups to think and work individually, focus on spinal flexibility for grace and ease of movement, and because Faelan likes her belly dance infused with mindfulness.  While she spent 6 years living in a Yogic Ashram and does offer private lessons focused on the spiritual practice of yoga, she blends her Yoga knowledge with her group fitness and dance training to create a hybrid for warming up and cooling down in public dance classes.

Faelan currently offers private, semi-private and corporate Yoga and Meditation classes.
